This artwork is based on my experience as a photographer for a famous shopping mall company in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I’ve collected several papers from the chief editor, and he always provided detailed curations for the images. In this exhibition, I gave participants the chance to serve as chief editors by writing notes on the table using markers. What kind of beauty do they think should be shown? I believe that everyone has different definitions of beauty, and they cannot be the same. So the notion emerged.
The work of art was first displayed at Kersan Studio in Yogyakarta, and then secondly at Taman Budaya Yogyakarta in a group exhibition, “Nandur Srawung”, 2015.
